GARHWAL KA MUKHAUTA NRITYA

The documentary is based on a research work done on the dying traditional art form called Mukhauta Nritya of Garhwal region.  A very few tribal communities perform this vanishing dance form these days which is a kind of ancient ritual performed whole night by a group of dancers.

ALMORA KE TAMRASHILPI

The documentary is based on a research work done on the coppersmiths of Almora and covers the entire history of the Tamata Community. The documentary also talks about the present financial and social status of the community, the peculiarity of this art form of Kumaon, the problems of Tamata Community, the whole process of making of a copper vessel from raw material taken out from the copper mines in the traditional and modern ways.

Based on a research work done on the traditional art forms of Garwal, the documentary covers all the folk dances, songs and other folk arts of the region like Mukhouta Nritya, Chapeli, Chanchari, Cholia dances etc. All the performances have been given by very famous folk artists and groups of Garhwal.

KUMAON KE PARAMPARIK MELE

The documentary covers all the traditional Melas (festivals) of Kumaon like Uttarayini Mela of Bageshwar, Dashehara Mela of Almora, Sangad Mela of Sangad etc.
